1. Who these terms are between
These terms are between you and NVTek, a registered business name in Ontario, Canada, with a mailing address at 18 King Street East, Suite 1400, Toronto, ON M5C 1C4, Canada ("NVTek", "we"). By using nvtek.ca you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. The website
nvtek.ca is an informational website describing NVTek's fractional IT leadership and vCIO services. Its content is provided for general information only and does not constitute professional, legal or security advice, and does not create a client relationship. Any engagement with NVTek is governed by a separate written agreement, which takes precedence over these terms.
The site has no user accounts and does not accept uploads or submissions. You may browse it for any lawful purpose. You may not attempt to interfere with its operation, probe or test it for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or use automated tools to scrape it beyond what a normal search engine does.
3. The NVTek Outreach application
"NVTek Outreach" is an internal tool used solely by NVTek to send its own business email and to detect replies. It is not a product or service offered to the public, it has no users other than NVTek, and no one else can sign in to it or connect it to their own accounts. Nothing in these terms grants any right to use the application. How the application handles data, including Google user data accessed through the Gmail API, is described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Email from NVTek
If you receive a business email from NVTek, it was sent in compliance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation: it identifies us, includes our mailing address, and includes a working unsubscribe mechanism. You can stop further email at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or writing to privacy@nvtek.ca. Receiving an email from us does not create any obligation on your part.
5. Intellectual property
The text, design and graphics on nvtek.ca are owned by NVTek or used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own reference. Any other reproduction or reuse requires our written permission. Third-party names and trademarks mentioned on the site belong to their respective owners.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NVTek is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the website or its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7. Links to other sites
The site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
8. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, and any dispute will be brought in the courts of Ontario.
10. Changes and contact
